I recently purchased Ian Roberts's book Mastering Composition. This gem contains many landscape paintings, and although Roberts seems to be primarily an oil painter, the principles he explains apply to any two-dimensional art medium. I've enjoyed reading it and intend to refer to it often. (See Miscellaneous: Creative Authenticity.)
