CARL'S BURGER

A painting I did almost 25 years ago. This establishment existed before the Carl's Burger franchise and was not involved with it at all. (The building on the right was demolished several years ago.)

After some fast talking by one of my friends, I relented and sold it to her. I later regretted selling it, but regretted even more not having a photo record of it. After I mentioned this to one of the friend's daughters, I received a surprise email. Thanks Heather and Mo, and of course Eve. (22" x 30"). No longer in my collection.

BIKE RIDE 1

My wife is training for a 100 mile bike ride, and yesterday she rode 48 miles through the Nevada outback. It was mostly an uphill ride, and it took her about 5 hours. Considering the terrain she had to traverse, I think she did remarkably well. Of course I was right behind her in my truck keeping an eye on things. And it was a fabulous day for riding (and driving.) Me? I can hardly make it around the block on my bike.

BIKE RIDE 2

She's half way to her goal.

BIKE RIDE 3

Here she comes. The final leg of her 48 mile ride.

BIKE RIDE 4

...And there she goes.

NEAR PANGUITCH LAKE

I used a little white gouache in this painting, mainly because I didn't want to use masking fluid, which when applied tends to damage the paper--at least when I use it. LOL. (22" x 15") $45.00

FAVORITE TREE

Not the first time I've painted this scene. I admire it a lot, and this probably won't be the last time I paint it-- from some angle or other. (15" x 22")

Abstract #1

Some rocks (lapidary cut rocks) that I photographed in a rock/gem shop in Zion National Park. I'm not sure I'm cut out for abstract work, but it was kinda fun painting this one. (22" x 15")

The North Carolina Crew

North Carolina

We spent a few days with our son in North Carolina last week. All I can think is that if it is this scenic in the dead of winter, then the scenery must be outstanding during the other seasons. The son assures us that it is.

Old Panaca Home

My son now has this painting. I painted it several years ago--back in the 80's--and recently had the chance to photograph it. I had to take the photo through the picture glass, so the quality isn't the best. Anyway, here it is. (22" x 15").
