LOST ROAD SCENERY.

The reason I called it the lost road is because I was a bit turned-around. Okay, I was lost. The road runs along the Strawberry River. River is a misnomer since this river is little more than a brook. The area is starkly beautiful; I'd like to return someday and take more photos. NFS

OCTOBER AT STRAWBERRY RESERVOIR

I've painted this scene several times. I don't know what attracts me to it, and I'll keep trying until I "get it right." (22" x 15")

CATHEDRAL

When I took the reference photo the afternoon light was distilling through the tree tops, and I wanted to capture that glow on paper. (22" x 15")

STRAWBERRY QUAKIES

I've painted this scene several times and no two are alike. I was intrigued by the arrangement of the trees and the foreground grass. (22" x 15")

RETURNING FROM MY LOST ROAD ADVENTURE

(15" X 22")

THE ROAD TO...

I have no idea. I followed it for a ways, but the trees kept closing and the road kept steeping. So I found a wide spot and turned around. While I was negotiating the turn, a dude in a very large truck came around the corner. Glad I was out of the way because he drove like he wasn't expecting anyone else to be there.
