MORNING CHILL

I made a correction concerning this painting. My son took the reference photo and sent it to me over six years ago. I painted the scene sometime in 2002, and promised it to him when he had a place of his own. (That's still pending) The location is actually Heidenheim, Germany and not Austria as I mistakenly indicated before. No big deal except for Jeff and me. (22" x 15")  No longer in my collection.

HOLSTEN TOR

This structure is located in Lubeck, Gemany. Lubeck was one of the Hanseatic League centers. In its hayday, the old city was surrounded by a wall, and this is the one surviving "gate" that allowed entrance to the city.
