OLD MINE

(15" x 11")  No longer in my collection, at least the original isn't.  This is a reproduction, but not a very good one.

I like the loose style of this one a lot. Different from your usual style but very appealing.

I agree with Rhonda - not your usual style(which I happen to like very well), but much more abstract/cubistic and loose. I really like the shapes and colors in this.

Thanks to you both. I appreciate your comments. I painted this about 20 years ago when I was still experimenting or, I suppose it would be more accurate to say, when I was still seeking my style. I had recently attended a Frank Webb workshop, and I think one can recognize some of Webb's influence in the painting.

I like the way you have used color and shape to give depth to the subject. Very different style for you and I really like it a lot.

What a wonderfully fresh painting this is. Love the contrast of the angular and geometric shapes in the barn with the fluid, loose colors throughout, especially those interesting colors in the sky!
