NORTH GATE

The summer our family went to Yellowstone it rained the entire five days we were there. Four years later we vacationed for two weeks in France and it rained practically every day.We formulated a theory that if, as a family, we visited the most drought-stricken areas in the world we could charge a fee for our presence, and the rains would come. On a subsequent visit to Florida, where our son was married, the theory fell through. However, as someone pointed out, while in Florida we weren't all together in the same place at the same time. We had fun with that one for years afterward. (15" x 11")  $25.00

A really funny anecdote. We are short of rain in California and are about to have rationing. Are you all planning on visiting any time soon? Nice watercolor. Like the subtle colors.

Great painting--I love the glow of the warm colors you dropped in, and the greens are all great: strong and beautiful.

Hey Jean. I'm afraid not. We're too scattered out, and there are three times as many of us now. LOL

Thanks, Laura.
