I KNOW SANFORD WELL AND THE LARGE LAKE. GATORS EVERYWHERE. NO SWIMMING FOR SURE.

Your beautiful painting brought back many pleasant memories for me. My Grandfather, Dr. Henderson owned a small grove and vacation home right on Ross Lake----I am sure the groves are now covered by houses but I would rather remember things as they were in my childhood when the sparkling waters of Ross Lake reflected the orange globes dangling from the citrus trees round about, and the fish in the lake responded to our lures of crackers and bread treats.
