MORNING CHILL

I made a correction concerning this painting. My son took the reference photo and sent it to me over six years ago. I painted the scene sometime in 2002, and promised it to him when he had a place of his own. (That's still pending) The location is actually Heidenheim, Germany and not Austria as I mistakenly indicated before. No big deal except for Jeff and me. (22" x 15")  No longer in my collection.

It's gorgeous! I'd be happy to babysit it until Jeff becomes a homeowner...lol. :)

I love snow scenes, and this one captures the cold and the severity of living in a stone fortress on a mountainside! It's stunning!
