- Thank you for visiting my blog. Please spend some time here. I hope you enjoy my paintings. I'm not a professional artist--although I've sold paintings--and I don't have aspirations for becoming one. The fact that I enjoy painting is all the motivation I need to keep dipping the brush and slapping on the paint. I believe there are thousands of other painters who hold a similar philosophy. Beautiful light and color. I had to look at it large a few times to admire the tracery in the trees. Very nice work.
Trees are challenging in watercolor and this watercolor is a favorite of mine. Reminds me of a great tree painter, Naomi Brotherton.
I love the sublety of your paintings -- mere suggestions bring the essence of the landscape to mind without overburdening you with the details. Very peaceful scene excellently accomplished.
