Close to the former golf course. I had difficulty accurately reproducing the colors from the painting, especially the yellows and grays. The yellows (in the mountain) are much more prominent in the painting and the blues in the foreground are far grayer in the painting. Ah well. (15" x 22")

About the Artist
- Brent Perkins
- Thank you for visiting my blog. Please spend some time here. I hope you enjoy my paintings. I'm not a professional artist--although I've sold paintings--and I don't have aspirations for becoming one. The fact that I enjoy painting is all the motivation I need to keep dipping the brush and slapping on the paint. I believe there are thousands of other painters who hold a similar philosophy. As you can see I have several categories (collections) listed below that you can view. Once again, enjoy your visit. Bookmark and return again. I appreciate your kind remarks.

Don't beat yourself up over it - the colors, and their contrasts, in this painting are wonderful. It has a dramatic sense of space and atmosphere. Great work.
oooh paul and i LOVE this one. MINE!
Who needs accuracy when you get such a strong, dynamic painting?
Thanks all for the encouraging words.
