Sounds like a movie title? Well, this particular scene definitely isn't from the movie, and it's a small stream not a river. The stream begins somewhere in the mountains of Eastern, Nevada and eventually ends up in Lake Mead. It also winds through the site of a former nine-hole golf course. The property had the potential for an additional nine holes, and it was quite beautiful; but it was somehow tangled up with the Hughs Corporation and, if my memory serves me correctly, a legal title to the land couldn't be obtained, even after all the work and expense had been invested in the project. The land has now reverted back to nature.
