GOLDEN II

This painting is a crop of another Duck Creek piece titled Golden. I sometimes look for smaller compositions in a photograph, and occasionally I find one or more that work.

Big masses of forest foliage are notoriously difficult to do, especially in watercolor. You make it look easy. Beautiful image.

Thanks Villager. It may look easy, but I feel as if it's my very first watercolor painting each time I tackle masses of forests.
